Danielle Cabral Reacts to Caroline Manzo RHONJ Casting Claims
Danielle Cabral responded to Caroline Manzo‘s claim that she’s responsible for her casting on The Real Housewives of New Jersey during an interview at her Boujie Kidz’s relaunch party last month.
After Caroline, 62, shared the news with Jeff Lewis, 52, on his SiriusXM radio show in August, claiming her niece was driven by fame, Danielle, 38, fired back while also commenting on her recent fight with Jennifer Aydin, 46, her advice for the series’ newbies, and her love of Britney Spears, 41.
At her Boujie Kidz event, which was attended by Teresa Giudice, 51, Melissa Gorga, 44, Margaret Josephs, 56, Dolores Catania, 52, Rachel Fuda, 32, and Jennifer Fessler, Danielle told The U.S. Sun that “the best day of [her] life” was when she performed on stage with Britney.
“They did a contest to see who was Britney’s number one fan. I was 16 and I rapped on stage with my idol and she picked me as her number one fan,” Danielle recalled, adding, “Listen, if Britney wants to call me, I’d love to talk to that broad right now- see what’s going on there. Love her.”
Although Danielle is somewhat new to the world of reality television, she said that when it comes to her future, her dreams are much larger.
“I will be an Emmy winner and it will be for doing amazing things… doing a really wonderful program,” she declared. “I have dreams and ambitions still. I have not hit my pinnacle of success and everything is still a journey. I’m super talented. I’ve been trained in theater.”
According to Danielle, she feels it’s “crazy” when people label her “thirsty.”
“There’s a very big difference between being thirsty and being hungry,” she clarified. “Somebody that is hungry works hard. I got educated in the entertainment field and that was just my dream.”
While Jennifer Aydin and Jackie Goldschneider, 47, were absent from her event, the latter due to a book signing, Danielle was also joined by season 14 newbies Kayla Giovinazzo, Jessica Kiraly, and Tiffany Chantell-Rosania, the first of whom’s companies, Eat Clean Bro and Loona Balloon, supplied the balloons and food for the party.
When asked what advice she has for the new ladies of the show, Danielle said, “Nothing that I can tell you will set you up for this scenario.”
“You’re going to come in contact with people and things and situations where you have to learn for yourself. And that’s what I want for everybody who’s coming into this situation or my friends that have joined this group. Don’t listen to me. You make your own decisions,” she advised.
Looking back on her past experience on RHONJ, Danielle, who, along with Jennifer was suspended from production last month due to a physical altercation between them, said she’s smarter now.
“I think I have a place in the group this season, so it just makes sense for me to have more of an opinion and a place and a history. And so yeah, last season I was like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you,’ and this season it’s a little bit smarter,” she explained.
Moving onto Caroline, who told Jeff she was “one of the reasons Danielle’s on that show,” Danielle said she knows the truth.
“I know [the truth], and it’s not necessarily Housewives, it’s anything in my life,” Danielle said in response. “I know the immense amount of work that I’ve put in and the struggles and the heartache. And my husband [Nate Cabral] knows the times I would cry and it’s not Housewives related, it’s success related.”
“So for anybody that knows me… I really put in the work and for anybody to take it away from me, [it’s] kind of sucky,” she continued. “But I just know. It’s okay for me in my heart to know the truth. There’s nobody in the world that can take any of my success away from me. I’ve earned everything I’ve gotten myself.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2024.
