A crazed man wielding a hammer walked into a Brooklyn seafood buffet restaurant late Tuesday afternoon and, in an unprovoked attack, beat three men in the head, one fatally, police said.

Fufai Pun, 34, a chef at the Seaport Buffet in Sheepshead Bay, was pronounced dead at a hospital, while the 60-year-old owner of the eatery and a 50-year-old manager were listed in critical condition Tuesday night.

The 34-year-old suspect, believed to be emotionally disturbed, entered the restaurant at about 5:15 p.m., police said.

“I heard a bunch of people screaming: ‘He’s killing people! Lock all the doors!’” said Samantha Randazzo, who manages Randazzo’s clam bar less than a block from the scene.

Randazzo said she helped shelter fleeing buffet customers and employees in her restaurant.

“They explained how a guy came in with a hammer and just started screaming crazy things,” she said the staffers told her. “[He] hammered a couple of people right in the head.”

Blood was spattered around the buffet after the attack, a police source said.

“This was a grisly murder scene,” the source said. “A serious amount of blood was spilled.

“It sucks,” the source added. “These guys were just working and this a–hole comes in.”

The victims were rushed to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn. The names of the wounded victims had not been released as of Tuesday evening.

Witnesses saw the suspect flee through the parking lot of the restaurant. Cops quickly tracked him down about two blocks away on East 19th Street near Emmons Avenue and arrested him, the sources said. The hammer was recovered.

Charges against the suspect, whose name was not released, were pending Tuesday night.

He is expected to undergo psychiatric evaluation, police sources said.
